Pamela Kay Cressey “PKC”
Pamela main passions early on in her life were music, art, and acting. Graduated from college in 1978 with a BA in Theatre Arts. She received her Master Degree in Theatre Production later in 2004. The Theatre was the one place she could combine all three of her favorite things by producing multiple stage plays and musicals. Teaching was also one of her natural born talents as she easily connected to her students using humor, love and respect for the creative kids who are usually misunderstood, as she was, and still is.Absolutely loving classes in acrylic and oil painting she has taken with instructor Timothy Smith has shown her yet a new chapter of her life…a painter! Painting on canvas, no longer on 20’ x 40’, is a welcome change and also an unexpected new passion!
Carol Lacy-Unsells
Carol Lacy-Unsells’ art is propelled by her love of nature and her desire to explore its beauty in detail. Being a native of the northwest has exposed her to the beauty our part of the country has to offer. One of her passions is growing dahlias …..not just a few but hundreds. It should only follow that they are key subjects in many of her acrylic paintings. A favored style Carol employs is capturing flower blooms close up. Creating depth and drawing viewers into the flower bloom are goals.Carol had her work selected for display at The American Dahlia Society 2023 National Show in Portland Oregon recently displayed several of her dahlia paintings. Although painting flowers is important to her, portraying animals, landscapes, portraits and still life paintings are close behind.
Sherry Pesusich
My Perspective: As human beings, we are sometimes so locked onto our electronic devices and our busy lives, that we forget to notice that there is beauty in this world of ours, that either we don't know where to look for it or we altogether just forget to do it. If I think I've made someone smile or even laugh out loud, or remind them of their loving pets and/or family, then I have fulfilled my purpose.
Sherry's Vision is to remind us all to find out what makes us happy, seek out the beauty, feel grateful that we are on this most beautiful planet Earth with its birds, horses, plants, flowers, and our adorable, loving furry animals! Not only does color excite her and give her energy, it is why she prefers to paint living things and our loving pets.
Susan Locke
Susan started oil painting after doing Chinese Brush, learned in O’ahu Hawaii, then relocated to Gig Harbor WA, in 2016.
Carolyn Hogan
After many years, Carolyn retired from nursing school and began to re-establish her love of painting. She has traveled, extensively, and finds joy in creating images from the beautiful places she visited, as well as those in her own neighborhood. She paints with oils, acrylics and watercolors.

SHANNA WILLOW
Glass Artist
We have a new 3D artist in our Sculpture Display!
Shanna Willow will have her vibrant glass pieces on display for November. The glass poppies make for wonderful gifts.
"A wreath has many meanings. During these trying times, anyone can take solace in the vision as it brings a certain calming and relief. The focus of the Artist on this particular piece is a symbol of peace, closure and a new birth of hope and color from difficult seasons."
