Shanna Willow
My life and art are like that of a Willow tree. A Willow is one of the most resilient and adaptable of all trees. It can get knocked over and when replanted it will grow to be very strong. It can be damaged and will develop a bend that strengthens and gives it beautiful character. To live with purpose, it is important to know what/who your source is. Psalms 1:3 They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do. My source of living water is the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.
I have always been creative. It took me a while to realize that creativity is a gift inspired by God (the first creator). Many years ago, glass fusion presented itself. I got a bit of direction from other artists, and the exploration took off. Since then, I have had the opportunity to engage in many techniques and methods of glasswork. Recently, God showed me the “shiny” in metal. I am excited about all the possibilities of marrying those two mediums, so I am now forging and welding as well. I hope you receive my pieces with delight and enjoy this journey with me.

His Promises
When I began the journey of this collection, I felt God tell me to share His promises (to us). At my core, I want to provide hope. Each piece was singled out with His blessing. Some even broke along the way, perhaps wrong promise or timing along with an opportunity for me to learn. Each piece is inspired by God and is for someone specific. I felt that vision throughout the process. God calls you to your blessing. It is for you. Receive His Promise with power and reverence, knowing that he has chosen the piece specifically for you. His word came alive to me as I pondered what was ahead. He elaborated in Hebrews 6: 17-19
